Final Project Updates

6-22-18

This week I have narrowed down my ideas so that I can start creating my characters. I have decided to pursue the idea of creating the 7 Deadly Sins, but not with their traditional characteristics. I plan to design my characters as follows...

Wrath- Inner wrath, hardest on self, etc

Sloth- For change, "Everything is fine the way it is" 

Envy- Of nature (which is made to be perfect)

Greed- Of experiences, nosy (wants to see others memories)

Gluttony- For change, activist

Pride- In others, everyone's personal cheerleader

Lust- For knowledge (Books + Adventures)

6-28-18

I have found some source images that I hope to use as inspiration for my characters. To state clearly, NONE OF THESE IMAGES ARE MINE. If there was a signature included with the drawing I made sure it was included. I would also like to thank my fellow artists for sharing their work and for helping spread creativity. My source images can be found below.

7-6-18 

I have begun drawing the first versions of my characters. So far I have the initial drawings for Envy and Lust. I'm hoping to  get more done this week while on vacation. After I have a basis for all of my characters, my next step will be to take them into photoshop and start painting.

7-13-18

Due to my schedule this week, I was not able to make a ton of progress character wise. However, I was able to think and decide on how to organize my templates. I decided to add colored borders to go along with each character's sin. With this template made up, it will be easy to complete my project in a timely manner.

7-20-18

This week I worked on the front views of all my characters. With this done, I feel that I have a good handle of who my characters are and how they need to look. Next week I will be moving into photoshop and working on the other perspective angles.

7-31-18 

Its the final week! Here is my half way point for this week. I worked all day today, but I have all day tomorrow to be working on this. I am confident this will be done on time and in great quality. I'm excited to have tomorrow to just work! My template will be all filled out and at the very least I plan to have my center image in color. I will now be posting my final images at the top of my site, in order for the project to be truly on display, with the progression images below.
